Susan found her niche in EMDR therapy and has used many protocols to help clients with PTSD, depression, anxiety, attachment, addiction, and bereavement. EMDR (Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a safe and effective therapy for treating trauma. She is certified by the EMDR International Association, and her focus in the past several years has been working with military veterans struggling with MST and moral injury. EMDR is a beneficial therapy with many professionals exposed to trauma daily, such as first responders and health care workers. Susan also provides options for using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for clients with PTSD.

Susan specializes in treating adults through individual and group therapy for addiction and trauma. She provides psycho-education in relapse prevention, panic-related responses, the link between trauma and addiction, grounding, understanding shame and guilt, defense mechanisms, and healthy communication. These are all part of therapy to empower our clients to overcome past and present situations for improved outcomes.
