MS, Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern

Tammy McBride is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with over five years of professional experience. Tammy works with adolescents and adults experiencing the effects of depression and anxiety. She also has and specializes in treating trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with individuals who have a history of trauma. Tammy has worked with several professional populations, including veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, adults who face PTSD, and other issues that prevent healing, such as trauma. Treatment can eliminate symptoms and improve professional careers and our personal lives.

Tammy completed her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She utilizes multiple therapeutic, trauma-informed approaches in her therapy practice, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT). Tammy is in the process of obtaining her certification in EMDR and believes in the healing properties that this research-based therapy tool provides.
