Dennis Cain

M.A., LMFT

Dennis Cain, M.A., LMFT, brings over 20 years of experience supporting Veterans and their spouses, First Responders, trauma survivors, individuals navigating grief and loss, those struggling with substance use, and couples working to repair and strengthen their relationships. His work centers on rebuilding trust, enhancing communication, and deepening emotional and physical intimacy, with the belief that healing begins by restoring safety and cultivating meaningful relationships with ourselves and those we love.

With Level II EMDR training and advanced training in CPT‑C, Motivational Interviewing, CBI‑SA, and Internal Family Systems, Dennis is equipped to help clients address a wide range of mood, trauma, and substance use disorders. He serves as both an explorer and guide, offering insight and alternatives that support individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward growth, clarity, and connection.

Dennis integrates evidence‑based approaches-including Imago Reflecting, Gottman Method techniques, Structural Family Therapy, Motivational Enhancement, and elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. His therapeutic perspective is shaped by the work of John Gottman, Murray Bowen, and Irvin Yalom. He values honesty, personal accountability, and living life in alignment with the principles he teaches.
